Pokemon GO trainers are gearing up for an exciting Community Day featuring Chansey, scheduled for March 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
What to Expect During Chansey Community Day
This pink powerhouse will be appearing much more frequently in the wild, giving trainers plenty of opportunities to catch a shiny version with boosted odds. If you’ve been wanting to add a pink Chansey or its evolution Blissey to your collection, this is your perfect chance.
Special Features and Bonuses
During the three-hour event window, you’ll enjoy some fantastic bonuses:
– 3× Catch XP
– 2× Catch Candy
– Double the chance for XL Candy when catching Pokemon
– Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours
– Additional special surprises
Exclusive Move
When you evolve Chansey into Blissey during the event or up to five hours afterward, your Blissey will learn the exclusive charged attack Psychic. This move adds some interesting offensive capabilities to what’s traditionally been a defensive powerhouse.
How to Make the Most of Community Day
As someone who’s participated in countless Community Days, here’s my insider advice: Start preparing now by clearing out your Pokemon storage and stocking up on Pinap Berries and Poke Balls. Trust me, you don’t want to waste precious event time managing your inventory!
Tips for Success
– Set a reminder on your phone for the event
– Find a location with multiple PokeStops
– Prepare portable power banks if needed
– Consider purchasing the Special Research ticket for additional rewards
– Team up with other local trainers for more fun
Remember, while the main event runs for three hours, you’ll have extra time afterward to evolve your best catches. Take advantage of this window to carefully select which Chansey to evolve based on their IVs and CP.
Looking Ahead
While Niantic hasn’t announced the April Community Day yet, they typically reveal the next featured Pokemon about two weeks before the event. Keep an eye on the in-game news or Pokemon GO’s social media channels for updates. Based on past patterns, we can expect the next Community Day to fall on a weekend in mid-April.
