Where to Look for Allays
You’ll find Allays in two main locations: Woodland Mansions and Pillager Outposts. I remember spending hours searching my first world before realizing they’re actually housed in cages at these structures. They’re basically waiting to be rescued by you!
Finding Allays in Woodland Mansions
Woodland Mansions are those massive dark oak structures you’ll find in Dark Forest biomes. Here’s the thing – they’re pretty rare, so you might need to travel thousands of blocks to find one. I’d recommend grabbing a map from a cartographer villager to make your life easier. Once inside, look for small cage-like structures where the Allays are trapped.
Spotting Allays at Pillager Outposts
This is actually my preferred method because Pillager Outposts are much more common. You’ll find them scattered across most biomes, appearing as tall wooden towers with a cage at the top. Usually, there’s an Allay trapped in that cage, just waiting for you to break it free.
How to Befriend Your Allay
Once you’ve found an Allay, simply break the cage to free it. But here’s the cool part – Allays love music! If you want your new friend to stick around, place a Note Block nearby. They’ll dance around it and stay in the area, making them perfect helpers for automated item collection systems.
Making the Most of Your Allay
